Searcy Named Among Fastest Growing Cities in Arkansas by US Census Bureau

Searcy, Arkansas - The city of Searcy has been recognized as one of the fastest growing cities in Arkansas by the US Census Bureau. According to the latest census data, Searcy experienced significant population growth, surpassing other cities with at least 20,000 residents in the state.

Searcy ranked 95th fastest-growing U.S. city, with a 3.9% growth rate among cities with at least 20,000 residents. Searcy’s population increased from 22,918 in 2022 to 23,813 in 2023. From 2020 to 2023, the city had a growth rate of 3.8%, making it the ninth-fastest growing city in Arkansas. 

Mayor Mat Faulkner expressed his excitement about the news, stating, "We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the US Census Bureau. Searcy's rapid growth is a testament to our vibrant community, strong economy, and exceptional quality of life.
